Core capabilities
The Inward Pioneer (静行者) is an Eastern philosophy AI desktop companion app for macOS and Windows, developed by Shenzhen AI Pioneer Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳智驱者科技有限公司, AI Pioneer). Through conversation, it helps users reflect on relationships, work, choices, anxiety, self-doubt, and overthinking. It does not make decisions for users or provide psychotherapy or medical advice.
- Conversation
- Eastern philosophy, especially Taoist ideas about flow, non-contention, gain, loss, and control, offers perspectives on real situations.
- Desktop companion
- Stays on your macOS or Windows desktop, opens into conversation when invited, and stays quiet while you focus.
- Text and voice
- Supports text conversation. Voice recordings are uploaded for processing only after you choose voice input and grant microphone access.
- Ongoing memory
- May retain experiences, preferences, and previous conversations for future exchanges. See privacy below for memory management and deletion.
- Meditation music
- Play calming music during a break, before sleep, or in a quiet moment alone. You can listen without starting a conversation.
- Guided meditation
- Follow gentle spoken guidance to slow your breathing and bring your attention back to the present.
